Kofi Kingston was given a huge F5 on SmackDown following his challenge to get a WWE title shot has been approved by brock Lesnar.
Kingston kept his title against Randy Orton in Clash of Champions on Sunday and was after his New Day colleagues despatched both the Viper and The Revival in a six-man label match.
The WWE champion himself picked up the winning pinfall after hitting a Trouble in Paradise – however his night did not end there.
Following the match, Paul Heyman asked that Big E and Xavier Woods to clean the ring that Kingston would stand to meet The Beast.
When SmackDown proceeds into its new home on Friday nights heyman then issued a struggle on behalf of his client for a match between the two.
Kingston – like a fighting champion – accepted, and the two will do battle. But that wasn’t enough for Lesnar, that dropped Kofi having the F-5 that is earth-shattering.
Harper & Rowan stay trail of destruction
Luke Harper’s reunite at Clash of Champions caught everyone by surprise but there is perhaps nothing shocking about what’s followed it alongside Erick Rowan, he last night weaved a trail of jealousy.
First Daniel Bryan decided that he knew about Rowan’s attempts to maim Roman Reigns all along and he no longer admired his former spouse – a statement that brought men for a beatdown.
Although himself sought to intervene but has been cut off and handed a beating.
But Bryan captured the worst of it – a dual crucifix bomb throughout the comment desk that left him right down and very much out.
Owens to sue McMahon for $25m
Kevin Owens is not a WWE employee but that didn’t stop him attending SmackDown as a ticket-buying fan yesterday evening.
Shane McMahon invited Owens into the ring from his position from the stands, at which he had been asked to explain his actions in filing a $25m wrongful termination lawsuit against him.
Owens said it was a case of vengeance, and also at the conditions which would affect McMahon the most, hitting his wallet and his self.
In the event the Canadian superstar is effective in his legal actions, he will also love another advantage – getting to fire McMahon from WWE.
Gable wrecks Corbin’s coronation
Baron Corbin’s coronation as the 2019 King of the Ring was a glorious affair until he encouraged his fellow Chad Gable out to share the moment with him.
After a few height-related jokes, Gable wrecked and snapped the King of the gang set and Corbin himself in a furious attack.
So it appears that although Corbin might have won the struggle to become the King of WWE, the war between him and Gable will last for some time yet.
