Antonio Brown agrees terms with New England Patriots

Antonio Brown has agreed a deal with the New England Patriots, hours according to reports.
Brown along with the Patriots agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $15m (#12m) which contains a $9m (#7.2m) signing bonus, according to reports.
The 31-year-old took to the bargain that was all-but-confirm to social websites, posting a picture of himself with a Patriots jersey and hat.
The news came on a day in which Brown was released by Oakland that a bit more than 48 hours prior to the Raiders’ season opener against the Denver Broncos.
Patriots start their season against Brown side Pittsburgh Steelers, when they’ll increase their sixth Super Bowl championship bannerads.
Brown played 130 matches for Steelers in fourteen days in Heinz Field, prior to his move into Raiders.
The move capped a tumultuous week at Oakland and came only hours after the wide receiver posted a message to Instagram about Saturday morning that ended with”Release me @raiders”.
Brown became a free agent at 4:01pm Eastern Time on Saturday and has been free to sign with any team. He’s eligible to play in Week two.
“We tried every way possible to make it function,” Raiders coach Jon Gruden told Bloomberg.
“All I will say is it’s disappointing. I’m really proud of our clients, our coaches, our owner. We did. I’m sorry it didn’t. I apologise, but I could tell you I am very proud of everything we did an organisation to try. I need Antonio nothing but the best.”
Speaking on NFL Network Brown’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, said he will get to work on finding a brand new team.
“It’s been well-documented that it’s been a rocky road from the beginning,” Rosenhaus said.
“Regrettably, not all relationships between teams and players work out. Everybody had the best intentions going in but it didn’t pan out.”
The release of brown came less than 24 hours later Gruden said he expected the wide receiver to play in Monday’s season opener.
He had been fined $215,000 (#175,000) on Friday for a confrontation with all Raiders general manager Mike Mayock previously in the week.
The behaviour fine voided the approximately $30m (#24m) of guarantees in his arrangement, while the Raiders also reportedly would not be obligated to provide him any termination pay.
The Raiders acquired Brown at a commerce in March, sending fifth-round and third-round draft picks into Pittsburgh. They then signed into your three-year, $50m (Number 40m) restructured contract extension. According to reports, the Raiders have yet to cover any money to Brown.
